Selkirk LUXX Control Air InfiniGrit Epic vs Selkirk SLK Geo Widebody
Two standard paddles, side by side. Specs are the published figures; prices are what US stores charged at our latest check, shipping included.
What actually separates them
- Selkirk LUXX Control Air InfiniGrit Epic has the thicker core (19 mm against 14 mm). Thicker cores usually feel softer and more controlled; thinner ones give more pop.
- The cores are built differently: Selkirk LUXX Control Air InfiniGrit Epic is honeycomb with foam edge, Selkirk SLK Geo Widebody is honeycomb. That is usually the difference you feel first on contact.
- Selkirk SLK Geo Widebody has the longer handle (5.6 in against 5.25 in), which matters if you hit two-handed backhands.
